Boosts may be temporarily applied to relevant meta rolls. For example, if a character learns that a door is trapped ahead of time, they might gain a +1 Boost to the Safety roll needed to disarm the trap. The GM decides the amount of the boost based on the context. Maximum +3.
Equipped or worn items may grant a boost to an attribute. The item description will provide the boost amount and any other effects.
Attributes with a +2 stat can benefit from temporary boons. Each time you roll a superb (13+), your character gains the benefit of a boon to the +2 attribute you choose.
When a boon is active you gain its advantage and add +1 to its related attribute for the boon’s duration. Some boons will offer an addition +1 in the boon’s description. Only 1 boon can be active at a time. Once a boon is activated, it can not be chosen again until dawn. Any remaining attribute boons can be activated until all are exhausted.
While activating a boon is optional, that option is lost on the next meta roll if no boon is activated. In Situations, a boon may remain active for 2d6 rounds. During an Instance, a boon may remain active for 2d6 meta rolls. Boons cannot be activated during Idle Time. At the GM's discretion, the stat boost of a boon may increase as the game progresses.

Enduring Will
While this boon is active, your focus is unwavering. Focus rolls that are a failure are considered success instead.
A hindrance may be temporarily applied to relevant meta rolls. For example, if a character is wanted by the authorities, they might incur a -1 Hindrance to Safety rolls to remain incognito while in certain areas. The GM decides the amount of the boost based on the context. Maximum -3.
During situations, instances, and activities, a bane is incurred when a fail or worse is rolled 3 non-consecutive times using a particular attribute. A boon may remain in effect for a number of rounds equal to 2d6. During an Instance, a boon may remain in effect for a number of meta rolls equal to 2d6.
