You are a four-person industrial mining crew working for SinterFab Labs on ISRU Facility 52-Naunet—a massive, asteroid-embedded refining station deep in corporate space.
Your day-to-day is grueling, routine work: rappelling down vertical drop shafts, placing blasting charges in deep-core basalt veins, running heavy trenching drones, and hauling raw chondrite ore to meet brutal daily quotas. Between equipment maintenance, O₂ management, and company-docked wages, just breaking even on your shift is a victory.
Logistical Survival: You’ll track gear, battery power, and oxygen down to the individual Storage Slot. Traversing non-functional elevators and deep shafts requires actual preparation, harness rigging, and teamwork.
Tactical Mining & Crafting: Manage specialized equipment—from heavy excavation drones and spotlight arrays to volatile oxyliquit explosives. When tools degrade, your tech repairs them; when injuries happen, your crew seals them up.
The Corporate Grind: You operate on SinterFab Scrip (SFS). Keep your gear intact, avoid corporate liability fines, and hit your quotas to keep dispatch off your back.
We need one player for each specialized role to form a fully certified SinterFab crew:
Shaft Boss (Foreman): The operational anchor. Manages squad comms, monitors cavern telemetry/atmosphere on a data tablet, and deals with corporate dispatch.
Demolition & Extraction Lead: The heavy element. Handles rock-breaching explosives, sets blast-shielding pitons, and breaks up raw ore.
Haulage & Logistics Specialist: The backbone. Operates pneumatic winch harnesses, manages zero-G load transport, and controls crew inventory/storage slots.
Support Technician: The mechanic and medic. Operates the squad's hexapedal excavation drone, repairs degraded hardware, and handles suit patches/field trauma.
Focus: Problem-solving, spatial management, and collaborative survival in a harsh industrial environment.
Tone: Grounded, high-stakes, and atmospheric. Think Alien meets The Expanse—gritty industrial workers doing a dangerous job in cold space.
Session Zero: Review the corporate field manual, assign roles, character creation.
Report for your shift on Hab-Level 2. Gear up, check your oxygen, and let's get to work.
