The GM describes people, places, and things along with any relevant circumstances surrounding the players.
Based on what the GM describes and further inquiries made, players describe character actions and interactions. During idle time these actions can be roleplayed naturally by players. It works the same in situations, with the GM mediating turn orders and actions between players and NPCs as needed.
The GM will determine and describe the outcome of character actions, and may do so based on player meta rolls. NPC actions are also resolved by player meta rolls. The GM will roll to determine effects, affects, quantities, qualities, time, and distance, related to the environment and NPCs.
This process repeats once all is resolved and described.
Improvising: Do players want a person, place, or thing to exist? Allow them to give a plausible reason why, then let the dice decide! The dice can determine if the players get exactly what they want or not based on the Meta Dice Table. If it exists, the GM may determine if a thread or task must be completed to obtain it.
Modules: Pre-written adventures will drop you into a scenario with a world setting, a throughline, threads, tasks, and NPCs. Create your characters accordingly and let the dice tell a story!
